Direct Access Family Law
John has specialised in Family Law for 16 years. Working mainly in the areas of advocacy, child abuse, child abduction and residence and contact cases, John advises and represents Local Authorities, Parents and Children. He has worked for both Local Authorities and Parents in the Court of Protection. He also undertakes tribunal work as well as advising and representing Ofsted Early Years both locally and nationally in relation to the regulation of Child Minders and Nurseries. He has advised COPCA in relation to issues of Child Protection policy in the Roman Catholic Church and has represented the Official Solicitor on behalf of parents under a disability.
He has particular experience in cases involving all aspects of child abuse - physical, emotional and sexual.
John undertakes cases in the following areas:

John has considerable experience of conducted training seminars. This includes the provision of training for Local Authorities on law and procedure , court skills training Paediatric Nursing Staff at local hospitals, Osfted Early Years Inspectors on legal issues and Court Skills, and Roman Catholic Priests on Data Protection Matters.
